Congratulations to our cross country team who came 4th out of 9 teams this afternoon with two year 2s holding their own in the Year 3/4 race. A special well done to our Year 6 pupil for his bronze medal.
Class 2 had a fantastic morning writing and then recording their very own radio broadcasts.
What a wonderful sports day we had! Well done to Green Team, the overall winners and Red Team for have the most positive sporting attitude.
Class 2 have produced some wonderful still life artwork. What a talented group of artists we have!
Thank you to Cat Smith MP who gave generously of her time today to explain to our pupils all about her role as MP and to teach them more about our British value of the half term - democracy.

Our community Easter Bingo was a huge success tonight and a wonderful end to a very busy Spring term.
Our whole school received basic first aid training this afternoon. We do hope they will never need to use it but these little people could save a life now they know what to do.
Class 2 went all out to win the Word Hunters of the week trophy this week. With 37 amazing new words, they narrowly beat Class 1's search. Well done children!
This week, we launched our new inter class competition - Word Hunters of the week. The first class to win our shiny, new trophy was Class 1 who found 48 new words. Well done Class 1!
The first of our 20 golden tickets has been found, hidden in a Jill Murphy book. This young man has won a new book. Who will find the next one?
Class 2 were very lucky to have a visit from Linda Macluskie this afternoon. Linda's talk, photos and videos all about her recent trip to the Amazon rainforest were really fascinating and the children learnt lots more about this term's geography topic.
We enjoyed being entertained by our very own stars today, all in aid of Comic Relief. They sang, danced, told jokes and played musical instruments and were judged by our governor, Mr Gordon and Joyce Warrington MBE.
Our handball team played brilliantly today in the Carnforth tournament, coming away as silver medallists. Well done Team Caton!
What a wonderful effort everyone made for World Book Day! Our visiting author, Rob Bullock, officially opened our new library and the children are all very excited about finding the 20 golden tickets hidden inside the books. Special thanks to the PTA for buying our fabulous new furniture!
What a wonderful end to our Castles topic with a medieval banquet. Thank you to all our families for coming along to join in with the fun!
