Reception – Year 4 children walked all the way down to the Crook O’Lune from school enjoying the beautiful weather.

As this was the first time the reception children had walked down to the Crook they developed their ‘Out and About’ skills by walking with their partners, staying close to the side and listening carefully to instructions from the adults. Once they arrived on the cycle track they looked for different animals habitats including a squirrels drey and a birds nest. The children stopped for drinks and biscuits at the Otters and made some homes out of natural materials they could find for some of our playmobil people.
