WEEK ENDING JULY 6th

Ava for her amazing progress in adding 3 single digit numbers with carrying.

Aurelia for her fabulous reading and work on The Smartest Giant in Town, where she was beginning to use inverted commas.

WEEK ENDING JUNE 29th

Amazing at remembering to water the seeds that we are growing and has been an amazing helper.

She has been able to sound out all of her letters when writing sentences and has used fantastic adjectives.

WEEK ENDING JUNE 22nd

Rosie: She had to follow the instructions to make a larva lamp and then draw a diagram to add to the instructions. She had to follow the instructions carefully and then think about what she might draw to help explain how to carry out the investigation to other people.
Jimii: He worked really hard with multiplying and dividing by 2. His presentation was really tidy as he concentrated on forming his digits correctly.

WEEK ENDING 15th JUNE

For good subtraction work of two digit numbers using a number line in maths.

For using positional language placing the objects around her picture in the correct place in Maths.

WEEK ENDING  8th JUNE

For good adding of single and two digit numbers to twenty using numicon in Maths.

For a fantastic sketch of a castle and then labelling it using the sounds he could hear in English.

WEEK BEGINNING MAY 14th

We had been using our imagination to pretend we had found a magic rock. He wrote a fantastic story about being transported to Disneyland. Unfortunately, while he was there, he lost his friend Rose and his story talks about how he looked for her.

We had been using our imagination to pretend we had found a magic rock that could transport us anywhere. He also wrote a fantastic story about being transported to Legoland with Evan. Unfortunately he lost Evan and had to look in all kinds of places for him before he could be found. His writing showed some really good description.

WEEK BEGINNING MAY 7th

We had been reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ in English and she wrote some really good sentences independently.

For a fantastic information booklet about birds of prey. She had drawn a lovely picture on the front of the birds of prey flying across our school trees. Inside she had labelled the different parts of a European Eagle Owl and then found out some information about the bird showing some fantastic writing.
